MICROSOFT ACCESS LEARNING

ACCESS LEARNING

Determining whether or not Microsoft Access is an easy program to learn appears to be more of a personal opinion as opposed to a yes/no question. For me its not as easy if you don't really focus on it. Its quite tough learning.
Some people might say that Access is very easy to understand and jam-packed with sensible, user-friendly features. Others might tell you that Access is confusing and difficult to learn.
Generally speaking, Access is user friendly and can be used by beginners, but there is a learning curve.
Here are some tips that i have learned in class :
Getting Started
Perhaps one of the most important factors in the beginning is understanding the various terminology used in the program (i.e., database, queries, wizards). Once you know what the terminology means, you’ll have an easier time following the tips and suggestions.
Also, you should familiarize yourself in regards to when and how databases should be used. For instance, if you only need to maintain a small amount of data, or the data you need to store is for a short time, a database is probably over the top. Access is best for managing large amounts of data.
Creating Databases
Once you get a feel for the program, the next step is understanding how to create a database. Here are some things to explore:
  • What to name your database
  • Where to store your database
  • How to create a table using the Table Wizard
  • How to enter information
  • How to change and delete information
  • How to save and exit your database
Using the Features: Queries, Sorting and Filters
Access has a number of great tools, and queries is one of them. Queries let you select specific data from your tables. What you’ll want to learn are the types of queries that Access supports, how to use Query Wizards and how to design your own queries.
Also popular is the ability to sort and filter data. Sorting lets you put information into a logical order, while filtering allows you to limit what you see. These features can be used by the user-friendly drop-down menus.

Access is a very dynamic program, giving you the ability to create custom forms, integrate your data with Word and Excel and import and export information. It also has a decent selection of wizards and tools that make creating reports and forms simple. The basics of Access can be learned fairly quickly, but we must have patience in the meantime.

LAB TEST

lab test

In computer application subject, we have 2 lab test in total. My first lab test was Microsoft Words and my second lab test was Access. Both lab test quite tough for me because we are not enough time to finish up the complete test. The time given only 2 hours. I am quite disappointed with myself because i felt that i not really did well for it. To be honest, this subject is a tough subject for me. I really hope that i can cope with my final soon. I need to catch up more and struggle to get a good grades for this subject. In sha Allah, may Allah ease me 😖😖😖😖

EXCEL FUNCTION LEARNING

This class taught me how to use Excel as a tool for facilitating data analysis and to visually present data in a manner that is easily intelligible for not only myself but other users as well. From a data analysis perspective, I learned how to have Excel quickly make many calculations that would a take lot longer if done manually. One of the most interesting, and practical, capabilities I learned was how to define what criteria I want to count out of a raw data list that is not already broken into different categories for me. In regards to presenting raw data visually, I learned how to create both scatter plots and histograms.
The Excel activities will be very applicable to my majors and other areas of interest. As someone planning to double major in political science and business, Excel will help me understand data as well as present it in an easy to understand way. In my political science major I expect the skill of creating visual representations of data to be particularly helpful. In business, Excel would be very helpful in analyzing a company’s operations. For instance, I enjoy looking into investable companies and tried using the skills I learned in Excel to gain insight into a fertilizer company.
Overall, I feel that my newly acquired knowledge of Excel’s capabilities will make me very likely to utilize it in the future. Moreover, I expect to continually discover new uses for it whether in personal, academic, or professional applications.

MICROSOFT WORD LEARNING

Its very excited day when it comes to Tuesday. Because my class started at 11 am to 2pm. Usually for this class i need to be extra focus. For the second class, our lecture is Microsoft Word learning. On that day, we are given a Microsoft Word booklet by our lecturer. By that booklet Dr Azila explained it well to the class how to make a journal using the Microsoft Word. That day was an interesting class.

Furthermore, i had to admit that this subtopic one of the toughest topics. All i need is to be 100% focus in class. Once you lost, you will never get to catch up during the class. Microsoft office is a normal thing for a student like me but when it comes to the journal i learned new knowledge that i never learn before. Interesting!!!

Lastly,  we assigned to do a task as our homework and submit it to ifolio.

What we can do with Microsoft Word :
Use a template to create a document
Change document margins
Personalize a document template
Indent a paragraph
Customize theme fonts
Create and modify a style
Insert a building block

Save a Word document as a PDF document and edit a PDF document

ETHICS AND SECURITY & WEB DEVELOPMENT THEORY

HORAYYYY ITS SECOND LECTURE DAY!

I had learn this theory by using a slide. What i have learned are the ways that software manufacturers protect against software piracy, how encryption, digital signatures, and digital certificates work, techniques to prevent unauthorized computer access and use and many more. This theory didn't take so much long because we need to learn by ourself since the theory quite easy to understand. But if there is anything not clear, our lecturer is always open to ask. I am so blessed.

FIRST CLASS OF COMPUTER APPLICATION

MY VERY FIRST COMPUTER APPLICATION CLASS!

An excited day coming today. The feeling of attending the first day class of computer application in first semester was a bit nervous and excited. My expectation about this class was a happening class with cheerful classmates and helpful lecturer. I hope that i can get many knowledge about information technology from attending this class.

From the first class, i have learned is some theory of Ethics & Security, Web Development and how to create a blog. My lecturer which is Dr. Nor Azila Binti Mat explain every detail about the important theory and taught me every single things about blog, how to make the blog more interesting with videos and posting pictures.

MY DAILY ROUTINE IN UKM

Wake up early for classes! Easier said then done, especially if you can’t giving up partying with your friends, spending nights out at pubs and clubs and having fun. Waking up early, isn’t really much of an obligation during University, however this rule is a good and healthy happy that makes a big difference over the course of a day.

Being a ' business student', my daily routine during my college days was quite "hectic". But I tried my best to keep a balance of extracurricular activities along with my curriculum.
My college timings were from 8-5pm. combining both lectures and practicals. (depending on the time-table, practicals would sometimes end at 4 pm)

After class there will be a training for me everyday at UKM field playing Frisbee with my teammates.

MY NEW FRIENDS IN UKM

NEW FRIENDSSSSSSSSS!

I met a lot of new friends in UKM. They are such a kind friends that i have met. They always help me in any ways especially in subjects that i don't really understand during lecture day.  I hope in 3 years they can be my close friends.

Close friend at UKM, we are in same class!
Friends from same collage, KKM

Friends in different faculty

Friends from same faculty, different course and with international student

FACULTY OF ECONOMIC AND MANAGEMENT

FEP stands for Fakulti Ekonomi Pengurusan

In UKM i was in FEP taking Bachelor of Entreprenuership and Innovation.  The history of the Faculty of Economics and Management, UKM began with the establishment of the Department of Economics and Commerce in 1970, the same year as the establishment of the University itself. The department was located at Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur. At the initial stage of its existence, the discipline of economics only enjoyed the status of a “department” in the Faculty of Arts.
The department of Economics and Commerce attained faculty status on 1st January 1974. This was the consequence of the rapid development in the discipline of economics and management. The new faculty was named the Faculty of Economics and Management.
The increasing complexity of the economics and management disciplines, combined with market demand for human resources gave impetus to the separation of the faculty into two faculties-namely, Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Business Management. This took place on 16th May 1979. From then on, the two faculties developed by leaps and bounds, each on its way.
In 1996, the top management of UKM considered restructuring the university faculties and academic departments. In August 1997, it was decided that the merging of faculties would be based on discipline groupings.
Beginning 1999, all faculties in the science group would be amalgamated into a faculty named the Faculty of Science and Technology. This was followed in 2001 by the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, Faculty of Development Sciences, and Faculty of Language Studies, all of which became the faculty of Social science and Humanities. On 1st April 2004, the faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Business Management became the Faculty of Economics and Business.
The name, “Faculty of Economics and Management” reflects the main disciplines in the field of economics, business management, and accounting as well as the unity knowledge with its epistemological underpinnings.

FOODS IS LIFE

FOODIE IS MY LIFE 😍😍😍😍😍

Today, there are so many delicious foods available to please our taste buds. I sometimes wonder how the life was in the past when there was no easy access to food and with no varieties like we have now. The world is full of so many delicious foods.

Though I have never been fat, I can understand why some people get that way. There are times when I think there is not enough choice in the world when it comes to food, and I feel like I have eaten every type of meal at least 100 times–and then there are times when there is so much good stuff on offer that I simply need to try them all at one time. Here are my favourite foods and why I love them so.

Toffee pavlovas when still frozen

The toffee pavlova is already a brilliant idea because you have meringue on the outside that is crunchy and sweet, and you then have the cream on the inside, which is fluffy and fresh, and on the top, you have soft caramel. They are good as a fresh treat, but are great whilst partially frozen because the cream inside turns to ice cream.
Mixed sushi packets
There are mixed sushi packets you can buy in your local supermarket. They are not cheap, but they are also not as expensive as going to a sushi restaurant or bar. The great thing is that they usually come with a little sauce that you can use on them. Scoffing them down one at a time usually provides a mouthful of deliciousness. Even the vegetarian versions are delicious.

FOODS THAT I TRIED AND THE TASTE WAS REALLY GOOD!!!

Eat & Repeat!

Library Cafe (Beef carbonara with iced Green Tea)

Arab Rice at Wadi Hardramaut!

Lasagna at Ariana Cafe

Cartoons Pau at Melaka night market

Nasi Kandar Penang Deen Manu

Kangkung Sotong

Thai Noodles at Boat Noodles

KDRAMAS

KOREAN DRAMAS!!

With so many excellent K-dramas currently airing, it's hard to choose which to watch first.
I love to watch korean drama when i am in a free time.

Aside from K-pop, another component of the Korean culture that has dominated the world is Korean Drama. New fans all over the world are being converted every day. Not everyone may be able to understand the language, but reading the subtitle doesn't seem to bother me or anyone. With their unique storylines and dreamy lead actors, there is no question why i love K-Drama so much!!!!

 EPISODES REVIEW

While You Were Sleeping was my fav drama ever!!!!
This is AMAZING!! Lee Jong Suk is one of the best Korean male actors that I have ever seen. I also find him very attractive. he is one of the actors that I will watch anything that he is in no matter what it is about. As far as the drama goes, this is really good.
So far I like the plot. The relationships between the characters are almost perfect. I also really like the feuds and the dreaming part of it. This is only my second time seeing Suzy, but I like the first drama I saw her in so I think that she will do very well with Lee Jong Suk.
I also feel like I have seen most of the secondary characters in other dramas, so it’s good to see them again 💗💗💗💗💗💗

Singing is my hobby!

PASTRY BAKING

JOY IN BAKING 😋

My interest in baking can be traced back to my childhood days, when I used to love helping my mother in the kitchen by mixing cake batter for her, sneaking chunks of cookie dough (to eat raw!) and by generally making a huge mess in the kitchen. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with flour, sugar, eggs and butter and how simple ingredients like these could make something so delicious and magical.
I believe people always remember days when they have a great meal or dessert and it amazes me how their flavours play on your palate and can create memories. As I grew older, I started experimenting with different elements on the table, and my interest in baking since then has only kept growing by leaps and bounds.
I help my mother to bake many kind of cakes or pastry. Sometime its not only fun thing to do but this can release everything and you will felt satisfied after seeing the final product of you bake. I love to bake and give it to people or friends to taste. I usually bake cakes, creampuffs or malay kuih.

SOME PASTRY THAT I BAKED 💟

Plain brownies
A box of creampuffs

Popia sambal
Chicken pie and curry puffs

Quiche
Doughnut and tuna sandwiches

Fruit tarts
